Banana

Sure, bananas make the perfect on-the-go snack, but I use them for so much more than just peeling and eating. Bananas are naturally sweet, rich in potassium, and full of fiber, making them one of my favorite ingredients to work with.

Here, you’ll find a variety of ways I use fresh bananas in my kitchen, from fresh and fruity banana smoothies to comforting quinoa breakfast bowls and everything in between. But the true beauty of bananas lies in the fact that they become even more helpful when they get a little brown and spotty. That’s when they shine as a natural sweetener in baked goods – banana bread, anyone?
