Cranberries are small, tart berries that grow mainly in cooler regions like the northern U.S. and Canada. Their bright red color and tangy flavor make them a seasonal favorite. In fact, fresh cranberries are typically harvested from mid-September through November, just in time for the holidays!
The natural tartness and jewel-like color of cranberries make them a versatile ingredient in any dish. They can liven up smoothies, brighten up homemade granola, or naturally sweeten cranberry sauces.
Of course, cranberries always make an appearance on our healthy holiday table, whether baked with other festive fruits, folded into muffins, or shaken into a festive cocktail (hello, Christmas punch!). Here, you’ll find my growing collection of ways to cook and bake with cranberries this season!
